I’m Julie Wendt.
Licensed Nutritionist and Health Coach. I work with patients just like you and just like me who are looking for the answers to questions and concerns.
We are all seeking optimal health and to get and stay healthy requires personalized nutrition - I am thrilled to be working with people just like you to build and implement personal nutrition plans.
I am not one of those providers that tell you what to do, leaving you stressed out and overwhelmed with a bag full of supplements and a small list of foods to eat. I don't do that because that’s not helpful! I can show you what works by getting in the trenches with you and learning about your unique health history, life experiences, genomic and epigenetic influences, and how your life works right now.
We will build a personalized plan together.
I am the expert in evidence-based nutrition care and you are the expert in how you feel and what works for your body. We will make a great team! If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I would love to hop on a call with you to make sure we are on the same page and get started feeling better!
Taking a step to invest in your health is a decision that deserves your utmost care and attention. I’ve been in your shoes, not feeling well and willing to do whatever it takes to feel better but being overwhelmed by all the potential next steps that I could take. You might wonder, do I buy my vitamins at Costco or Amazon, should I be a vegan, a carnivore, and just eat whatever I want because it doesn’t matter, how do I know if changing what I eat and how much I sleep, move, and breathe will resolve my health concerns.
Trust me, I’ve been where you are and I know how you might be feeling a little lost, frustrated, and simply afraid. You’ve seen countless ads telling you what you should and should not be doing, most of it contradictory, and you really wonder what is best for you.
How Do We Develop a Personalized Plan Together?
Your Genomic and Family History
We will look at how your unique genetic blueprint and family history impact your current state of health. We will determine the driving forces that are the key to optimizing your health into the future. I use clinical support tools, such as 3x4 Genetics, to personalize your total nutrition plan and prioritize your next steps.
The Way You Fuel Yourself
Diving into the specifics of what you put in your body is a key piece of developing a personalized plan. I use professional tools to analyze your diet for vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein, and fats to understand how your food choices meet your body’s needs. Together we decide where we can optimize those choices to meet your health goals.
Your Journey
We don’t make choices about health in a vacuum. I will take time to listen to your story: how you live, what brings you joy, what brings you pain, why you want to make changes and what about them feels hard. We will find a way to move forward, towards your goals, and along the way, I will show you how to make these changes permanent so you can feel better now and in the future.
Concentrated Nutrients
I am a food-first nutritionist. I am unapologetically enthusiastic about the power of food to foster health. And I know through my clinical experience that sometimes that isn’t enough and we need to consider targeted nutrients to regain balance and address your personal health history. We will talk about supplements and the role that they can play in meeting your health goals.

“You bring a positive and assuring energy to the group efforts to improve our health through FMD. You immediately respond to each of the member's comment or question, which is very reassuring.”

“I wanted to try the Prolon FMD to break poor eating habits, get healthier, and ideally lose some weight. After completing 2 consecutive months of the Prolon FMD, I can happily say I have accomplished all three of my goals! I eat smaller portions, I choose better snacks and food, I've cut creamer or sweetener out of my morning coffee. Feeling better "overall" has also shifted my mindset toward better long term health so just fewer calories, less alcohol, fewer sweets and desserts overall.”
